More SLAPS pics
This old lady from Pigeon Island was brought in to the last clinic for spaying and found to have a chronic pyometria. She was very weak and could hardly walk but antibiotics, good food and tlc have worked wonders. She still wobbles a bit at the rear but has made herself very much at home at SLAPS and sings a lovely song of welcome when someone arrives to feed her. She has been given the original name of Old Lady.
With her, and below, is Frisky, one of a pair of pups found in a dumpster and brought in to SLAPS. Her sister was weaker and has damaged knees but both have done wonderfully well.
